During Covid the Foundation had to identify new projects. The need for computer literacy classes in the Suurbraak and Mullersrus area was investigated and in September 2020 we had the launch of the CBOP (Computer Basics Outreach Project) We are proud to be associated with these schools and this project that will bring hope and change lives.
The enthusiasm of the children as they demonstrate their newly acquired skills and the pride of the teachers as they guide their charges through a CAMI lesson, is very encouraging.
The teachers speak highly of the project and how it will enhance their teaching and learning. The principals emphasize how the LFAF is making an investment in the lives of the children that will better prepare them for a world where computer skills are so essential.
This project will no doubt establish itself as one of our key projects in the area.
