ANTHONY & CAROLE RECORD

The Light From Africa Foundation was founded by philanthropists Anthony and Carole Record.

With the initial vision to help orphans and to generate work opportunities for talented ceramicists, an invaluable investment has been made in the lives of young people in and around Cape Town.

Carole and Anthony received the Inyathelo Philanthropy to South Africa Award in 2010.

Christopher Gregorowski

Christopher Gregorowski matriculated from Bishops in 1956. At a class reunion 20 years ago he, then Anglican Bishop of Table Bay, met with Anthony and Carole Record.

Together they conceived the idea of Light From Africa as an outreach to disadvantaged children and young people in the Western Cape. They have worked together on the Light From Africa Foundation board ever since.

With years of experience, Christopher brings calm statesmanship to the board and is instrumental in shaping the vision and mission.
