LFAF & Suurbraak Primary Launch Library Appeal

Following hot on the heels of the successful Mullersrus Primary School Library launch, the Light from Africa Foundation (LFAF) is working to unveil its second library at Suurbraak Primary School.

In recent years, we have been partnering closely with the school to light the flames of creativity and hope in the lives of youth through our Art, Needlecraft, and Food Garden programmes.

Our aim is to hand over a fully stocked library and resource facility to the school by the end of April 2023.

We are appealing to our loyal donors and supporters to help us raise R50,000 which will be used to purchase new books, furniture, and other essential equipment. In-kind donations of child-friendly decor, and IT equipment (laminating machine, printer, etc.) are also welcomed.

Please support our appeal and help us establish a culture of reading at Suurbraak Primary School. You can donate a book for only R250, but we welcome any donation of as little as R50!

A full list of items required and more information on this worthy cause is available on request. For more information, please call Project Co-ordinator, Lynne Roscoe, on 072 435 0901 or send an email to info@lightfromafrica.com.
